Awash with references to music, these plays have been a source of inspiration for countless composers, from Purcell through to Verdi.
 
In this intimate recital, join sopranos Rebecca Cassidy and Annika Hinrichs, baritone Cameron Bodiam-Taylor, and pianist Brendan Murtagh, as they perform extraordinary opera excerpts inspired by Shakespeare's timeless tales: including excerpts from Verdi’s riveting Macbeth as well as Thomas’ Hamlet, Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, and more.
