Excited to be singing with Voxalis, Cameron Bodiam Taylor obtained his Bachelor of Music and Postgraduate Certificate in Music Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium. Cameron has since performed the role of Music Master in Ariadne auf Naxos with the Lisa Gasteen National Opera School, conducted by Simone Young AM. Often engaged with Brisbane City Opera, Cameron most recently performed Opera in the Upper House in Queensland Parliament House. He has attended the Bel Canto Program in Greve, Tuscany, and has appeared as Second Soldier in L’Incoronazione di Poppea and as a soloist in Mozart’s Coronation Mass. As well, Cameron has covered the roles of Harlequin in Ariadne auf Naxos, The Witch in Hansel and Gretel, and Don Curzio in Le Nozze di Figaro. His ensemble experience includes King Arthur by Purcell for the Brisbane Baroque Festival, The Rake’s Progress, Cendrillon, and a staged oratorio version of Saul.
