Jolanta Kudra is an Australian soprano who grew up in the Riverland fruit growing region in South Australia. She studied classical singing in Brisbane at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University before she moved to Glasgow in 2023 and graduated with her masters from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2025. Jolanta has performed (in scenes) the roles of Frau Fluth (Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor), Female Chorus (The Rape of Lucretia), Marzelline (Fidelio), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Frasquita (Carmen).

In June 2025, Jolanta premiered the role of Bertha in Rachel Sullivan’s new opera of the same name at Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow. Most recently, Jolanta performed as Tatyana Larin in Tayside Opera’s Eugene Onegin at the Space Theatre Dundee in June this year. Jolanta has participated in the Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program (2021), Oxenfoord International Summer School (2025), and Opera Caledonia Vocal Studio Course in Edinburgh in July this year. In August this year, Jolanta founded Offbeat Opera Artist Collective, a group of Scotland-based opera singers who are passionate about widening audiences for opera by diversifying both where it is performed and the works that are presented, transcending the traditional boundaries of the genre.
