Featured in this intimate recital are excerpts from two of Gounod's most popular operas, Faust and Romeo et Juliette, both of which exhibit the composer's characteristically melodious writing style. Also on the programme are songs by Fauré and Duparc including L’invitation au voyage and Sérénade.
